Almost won £70

I should start off by saying why I haven't posted in a few days, I've been really busy, sorry.

Anyway I almost won £70 on Monday. I was so gutted.

I was at the pub quiz-which I go to every Monday-and after the quiz there is this thing called a snowball. If some of you haven't played this before I'll explain.

• The Snowball is a game where everyone buys a guess or guesses for 50p each.
• Then a very hard question is asked.
• You then try to work out the answer and give in your guess-written on your guess slip/s.
• Then if there's a winner they take all the money, if not it rolls over to the next week.

So the question this week was.
"According to the Collins Dictionary when was the word 'Jazz' first put in the dictionary."
Now like everyone else in the room I had no idea. So I thought logically.
When was jazz invented and how long would it take for the word to be recognised.
I decided on 1923 but I had bought 2 guesses. So time for another guess.
I thought i'd go a little lower just in case. So I wrote 1908.
I gave in my answer and then the judge looked through them and put one aside.
Everyone thought someone had won and I was like "Please let it be 1923."
So there was a drum roll on the bar and the answer was read out...

It was 1909. Gutted.

What would I do if I won the lottery?

So I just checked my lottery numbers. Didn't win anything, got one number. How lame is that. Anyway, whilst waiting for my crappy laptop to load up I was wondering what I would do if I did. So here's some of the things I would spend my money on.

• Invest in something. Something that would make me enough money to live of forever (not that I would need it but means I would have more to spend per day)
• Buy a house, somewhere far away from where I live at the moment. To get away from that girl. The one that doesn't know she's tormenting me.
• Give my current instruments to a children's charity or orphanage. Then I would buy myself better instruments and get lessons for all of them.
• Buy a new computer and a laptop. Currently I am using a crappy old laptop that dies if it goes on facebook too long. It's like a sweaty fat man who gives up if you make it walk to fast.
• Ford Mustang or a Dodge Charger. These are my favourite cars and I would love to own one.
• An engagement ring, now I wouldn't spend loads but I would design it myself and then I could spend loads of money on the way I purpose and it would be a great night. Then the wedding.
• Go to loads of gigs, I would be able to afford it and I love doing it.
• Backpack, I'm planning on doing this anyway but now I can do it without the worry of money.
• Start a business. Similar to the investing but do it may way. I'd like to start a magazine or a clothing line of some sort.

Well these are just some of the things I would spend my money on first. Maybe one day I will but for now we can all dream. :)

The Rocker

Wow, What a movie. I loved this movie. It was like.. If Jack Black was a Drummer.
This movie is very much like the School of Rock, expect it hasn't got Jack Black in, hence why it wasn't a big hit.

The naked drummer gimmick was awesome. It shows how some people have become famous by accident. I won't spoil it for you 'cause I think it is definitely one you should watch.

Its quite an inspiring movie to be honest, when I finished the movie I just wanted to run over to my drum set a bash away and I did. Shame I can't drum very well or it might of sounded good.

Jack Black and this guy (Rainn Wilson) have got to do something together. They would make quite the pair.

I've now also just booked a drum lesson. Hopefully with what I learn I will be able to master. The drum lessons are £10 an hour, which I thinks pretty cheap compared to some of the other tutors I've looked at. There must be some sort of catch. Maybe he is not as good as the others or hasn't done it much before.

I'd love to meet a girl drummer. No wait. I'd love to be friends with a girl drummer, hanging out with them. She could teach me some songs and we could play along together, we could see each others gigs. Hehehe. The thoughts that go through my head. I'm not talking about a physical relationship here, just me and her close friends. Now I just have to find this girl drummer.

Well I just spent the last half hour looking for a decent template for my blog (how sad am I) and I didn't really find much.

I really should get some sleep now it's gone 2am and I have a killer headache, I don't even know why I'm a posting this crap, I guess I'm just lonely and tired and delusional.

I will get round to making a template at some point. Just need to find the time.
